Hunterlab
Hunterlab systems are used in many industries to give numerical values that correlate to what you see. They are easy to use, are highly reliable and optimize the confidence of quality decisions. HunterLab's overall objective is to provide the most effective instruments and services available for the identification, measurement and control of the way things look.
HunterLab has an established international network providing products and service on an extensive global scale. Wherever you or your facilities are located, HunterLab is nearby, to provide the finest in color measurement products and service support.
With over 60 years of experience, Hunterlab are able to apply state-of-the-art technology to our systems ensure their suitability for “real world applications”. Hunterlab instruments are used in a variety of industries including building material, chemical, food, paint, paper, pharmaceutical, plastic, textile and many others.
PRODUCTS
BENCH SPECTROMETERS
Large or small, liquid or solid, powder or flake, smooth or textured, one of our bench-top systems will provide the best solution to your sample measurement needs. Offer greater flexibility when measuring a sample's color or color difference as it would appear under different lighting conditions. In addition to routine quality control, these instruments are also well suited for research and process control applications.

ColorFlex EZ
The ColorFlex EZ's 45°/0° design is the optimal instrument design for achieving color quality perfection. It is the only instrument design in the industry that 'sees' your samples the way the human eye does.

ColorFlex EZ Citrus
The Citrus Color Meter eliminates the subjectivity of visual methods and gives reproducible objective measurements. In addition to the citrus values, the instrument can also measure in terms of the Hunter Lab scale as well as other widely used color scales. Thus the system can also be used to measure the reflected color of virtually any opaque or semi-opaque liquid.
The system comes complete with a sample tube holder, stand, clamp and a calibrated plastic O.J. standard. The instrument has a large, easy-to-read display and a sealed keypad. It occupies only 6' of bench space. The system is very easy to use. In practice the juice sample is poured into a test tube or capped tube. The tube is inserted into the instrument tube holder. By pressing one button on the instrument the measurement is made. CN (Citrus Number), CR (Citrus Redness) and CY (Citrus Yellowness) will simultaneously be displayed. The Citrus Color Meter can be connected to a printer if hard copy data is desired.

ColorFlex EZ Tomato
Using a 45º/0º geometry, the easy-to-use ColorFlex EZ Tomato provides you with the highest level of color quality control. The ColorFlex EZ Tomato is specifically designed to measure tomato color in its every processed form - paste/purée, sauce, catsup, juice, as well as fresh tomatoes.

ColorQuest XE
Solid samples are easily positioned and supported at the reflectance port with the ergonomically designed sample clamp. The clamp pulls down a full 180º, and can be pulled out in small steps or removed entirely to accommodate thick samples. The spacious transmission compartment is open on three sides and has access from either side and from the top. It accommodates thin films, sheets, solids and transmission cells with path lengths up to 80 mm. Use it to measure opaque, transparent and translucent solids and liquids for properties such as reflected color, opacity, strength, transmitted color, APHA and haze.

ColorQuest XT
Measure gasoline, white spirits, kerosene, heating oils, lubricating oils and petroleum waxes using the Saybolt or ASTM D1500 color scales. Beer is measured using the ASBC or EBC scale. The ADMI scale would be used for accurate measurement of dyestuff in wastewater.
The ColorQuest XT has a large sample compartment that is open on three sides for easy access and includes a transmission-cell holder that precisely positions transmission cells. The system has a large, adjustable, back-lit display that can be read in any lighting environment. This display uses touch screen technology for simplicity of operation. Prompts appearing on the display are simply touched with a finger to initiate the action.
