Since more than 50 years NOVASINA is specialized in producing measurement instruments running the self-developed electrolytic measuring cell for accurate measuring of the relative equilibrium humidity of materials respectively the water activity (aw-value).
This quality parameter is indispensable in various kinds of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
Every sample has its own characteristics in terms of ingredients, texture, color and taste. These in-turn influence the free water and finally the water activity, each in different way. These factors, plus the temperature influence, define the measurement time and the accuracy of the tests. Stable measurement conditions are finally the key to a successful quality control.

SAL-T SALT STANDARDS
Humidity standards based on saturated salt solutions in plastic tablets, with moisture-permeable membrane. Each salt is supplied in a tightly closing can.
Important: Please consult the instrument manual to see which humidity points can be adjusted.
SORPTION-ISOTHERM(ST)SET
Set for the recording of an adsorption and desorption isotherm with the LabMaster-aw-neo.
In order to understand process such as texture change, crystallization/recrystallization,phase transitions, packaging optimization, storage conditions and effect on product stability and to work out appropriate models and limits, a sorption isotherm is often a helpful thing.
The Novasina sorption isotherm set can only be used in LabMaster-aw and allows a simple recording of a sorption isotherm at max.11points in the range 0.04-1.00aW. These curves are then suitable for the first general assessment of the relationship between water activity and product moisture.
